When Covid-19 first hit the United States, it hit some of New York’s Jewish Orthodox neighborhoods hard. Despite this, some voices within the more insular orthodox sects were among the loudest in opposition to public health efforts to stop the pandemic spread. CNN visits these communities in Brooklyn and Upstate New York.
