Hrithik Roshan to play Ravan in Madhu Mantena’s Ramayana?

Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan sharing the screen has been a fantasy for many Bollywood fans. So, when it was recently confirmed that the duo will share the screen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter, Bollywood fans couldn’t contain their excitement. And now, it seems that Hrithik and Deepika will share the screen in not one but two projects.

Buzz was strong that Hrithik and Deepika are the frontrunners to play Ram and Sita in Madhu Mantena’s version of Ramayana. Latest rumours suggest that while they still will be working on the same project, it seems that Hrithik has a different role in the mytho-drama. A source close to the project revealed to a leading daily, “Duggu had been in talks to play an important role in Deepika’s Draupadi which was a modern retelling of the epic Mahabharat. But that film will happen later. Mantena is bankrolling Ramayana first and Hrithik will play Ravan’s role in the epic period drama.”

Ram or Ravan, we’re sure that Hrithik will do complete justice to his part.
